Summer children’s theater camps and shows return in July
The 43rd season of the Rehoboth Summer Children’s Theatre has a wealth of artistry and fun planned for residents and visitors of Delmarva during July and August.
Weeklong film and theatre camps for ages 8-14 provide young actors and filmmakers the opportunity to develop their skills and creativity with an experienced staff of teaching artists in a fun-filled environment.
In a new Outreach Theatre Camp program this year, two instructors will bring the RSCT theatre camp experience into the Boys & Girls Clubs of Rehoboth and Milford for a week of stage games and performances.
Since 2011, the theatre has partnered with First State Community Action Agency to provide a one-week combined film and theatre camp for children served by the agency.
With “Robin Hood” on tour, the theatre will bring the excitement of live, professional theatre to communities from Smyrna to Delmar, from Bridgeville to Bethany Beach. Two actors play all the characters in a rollicking version of “Robin Hood,” providing 17 free public performances for family audiences during the summer season.
