Supporter presents check to Delaware Humane Association

Sandy McTigue, right, presents a check for $150 to Meg Searcey of the Delaware Humane Association at its Midway location July 30. McTigue, who spends her summers with family in Angola By The Bay, sold many of her beautiful latch hook creations at the July 20 Angola By The Bay Craft Fair to benefit two local pet rescue organizations.

She presented a second check for $150 to Judy Kane, a volunteer with Just Us, a cat and kitten rescue group in the Cape Region. The latch hook portrait of a cat shown is a sample of McTigue's handiwork.
