With schools reopening in Sussex County, and new schools under construction in many different communities, we thought it would be interesting to show the interior of a Sussex County one-room schoolhouse in 1926.
This photograph shows the classroom of the Records School No. 83 near Hitchens Crossroads between Georgetown and Laurel.
