T-shirt sales support bringing public art to Lewes
To raise funds to bring world-class art to public spaces in the First Town, the Lewes Public Art Committee is selling screen-printed T-shirts. The public art changes yearly and is made by contemporary, world-renowned artists working with different materials and concepts.
The T-shirts feature a graphic of the PAC mural created by artist Kyle Confehr, which he painted a couple of years ago on the back wall of the Lewes Board of Public Works’ former power plant building on Schley Avenue near the bike path.
“The committee is really excited to bring new artworks to Lewes this spring,” said Heidi Lowe, PAC chair.
A full 100% of the proceeds from shirt sales go to support the cause. They come in sizes XS-XL. Shirts can be purchased for $45 each at Heidi Lowe Gallery, which is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Sunday, at 119 Front St., Lewes.
