Allison Taylor of Preston, Md., and Michael Blankenship of Lewes recently announced their engagement. The bride-to-be’s parents are Calvin Jr. and Debora Taylor of Preston. The groom-elect’s mother is Kathie Lucas of Millsboro, and he is the grandson of Herschel and Beverly Porter of Lewes.
Allison graduated from Seaford Christian Academy and Bob Jones University. She is employed as an intensive care nurse at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford.
Michael graduated from Cape Henlopen High School and Delaware Technical & Community College. He works as a respiratory therapist at Nanticoke Memorial.
A November 2011 wedding is planned in Seaford.
