Toys for Tots to host outdoor kickoff event Nov. 7
Nassau DE, the local campaign organization of the Marine Toys For Tots Foundation, invites Sussex County residents and guests to attend the kickoff event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 7, at the American Legion Post 28 pavilion, 31768 Legion Road, Millsboro.
Attendees are asked to bring an unwrapped toy to donate for Sussex County kids in need.
Entertainment will be provided by musical group Hope 4 Success at 11 a.m., the Capital Ringers at 12 p.m.; singer Joy Schreck at 1 p.m., and singer and guitarist Shotgun Willie at 2 p.m. Food and beverages may be purchased from the American Legion.
Also participating are teams from Delmarva Rescue Dogs from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; Country Cruisers classic cars starting at 1:30 p.m.; Delaware State Police; Indian River Fire Department; Sussex County Paramedics; Rehoboth Police Chief Keith Banks; and the GFWC Zwaanendael Women’s Club.
