Tribal Elders cancel Nanticoke Indian Powwow

Due to inclement weather, Nanticoke Indian Powwow festivities are cancelled for Sunday, Sept. 9. The Sept. 8 Grand Entry was cancelled due to heavy rain.
The tribal council extends an invitation to everyone to purchase T-Shirts, hats and Powwow books. They are for sale at the The Nanticoke Indian Museum, 27073 John J. Williams Highway, in Millsboro. Museum hours are Tuesday through Saturday at 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
