We want to start by sending a huge, heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you who has supported us. Because of your incredible efforts, we were able to show up to our hearing with the Sussex County Planning & Zoning Commission with more than 700 signatures on our petition and almost 30 personal statements submitted directly to the commission. Your support has been nothing short of overwhelming, and we are truly humbled by the outpouring of encouragement, enthusiasm and belief in what we do.
We’re happy to share that the hearing went very well. While we still have a long road ahead, this is a significant step forward for us. With all of your support, we’re now making huge progress and moving in the right direction. We couldn't have gotten to this point without the dedication and commitment you've all shown. You’ve made it clear that Twin Branch Winery is more than just a place to sip wine; it’s a beloved part of this community.
We are currently scheduled to be on Sussex County Council’s agenda at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 28, for the next phase of the process. This brings us one step closer to our early 2025 grand reopening, and we couldn’t be more excited. Our commitment to this community has never been stronger, and we’re working hard to ensure that Twin Branch Winery not only returns, but also thrives as a gathering space, a local treasure and a source of pride for all of us.
As we look ahead, we are filled with gratitude for the trust you’ve placed in us. We want to assure you that we will strive to be a true asset to this community, and we are fully committed to proving that we are worthy of the support we’ve received. Your belief in our mission fuels us every single day, and we promise to work tirelessly to deliver a space where everyone feels welcome, valued, and excited to be part of something special.
Over the next few months, we’ll be busy preparing for our grand reopening, but we’re not forgetting about all of you who have been with us through this journey. We’re planning some special events and offers for our supporters and members, and we’ll be sure to keep you updated on everything. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all when the time comes.
Now that we’ve passed this important milestone, we can finally focus on what’s next: getting everything in place to welcome you back to Twin Branch Winery. Your ongoing support means the world to us, and we truly can’t wait to raise a glass with all of you soon.
