UNICO Rehoboth welcomes author-member Richard Muti
The UNICO Rehoboth Area Chapter season opener Oct. 20 featured author-member Richard Muti, who shared his research and lifelong interest in Frank Sinatra through his publication “Cent’anni – Sinatra a Legend at 100.”
Muti and his wife Lorraine transferred their membership from a New Jersey UNICO Chapter and now live in Millsboro.
A graduate of the US. Naval Academy, Harvard Business School and Rutgers Law School, Muti spent 19 years as a trial prosecutor, and taught writing, criminal justice, and American government and politics at three New Jersey universities. He is also a former Navy pilot and mayor of his hometown.
“Cent’anni” is his sixth publication and was a finalist for the USA Best Book Awards of 2015. A screenplay adapted from the book won Best TV Pilot at the Santa Barbara International Screenplay Awards in 2021. For additional copies of the text, call 302-226-0620.
All members were treated to antipasti and wine as they reacquainted with others, enjoyed the Sinatra lecture and welcomed new members Sam Ratner, Tina Lambert and Marylou Hahn.
