USA Dance Dover celebrates 18th anniversary

Ballroom dancers from all over the region recently converged on the Modern Maturity Center in Dover to celebrate the 18th anniversary of USA Dance Dover, the local chapter of the national USA Dance organization.

Thanks to the artistic talents of Eddy Seger, this year's black-tie gala event transported guests back to the heyday of the elegant grand ballroom at the elite Plaza Hotel in old New York. The social hour featured a shout-out to the Rat Pack era by James Young, a Frank Sinatra tribute singer.

A delicious seated dinner was followed by an elegant evening of ballroom dancing with live music provided by the Helmut Licht Orchestra from Baltimore.
