Village Primary Care held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate its opening at Milford Wellness Village, which is owned and operated by Nationwide Healthcare Services.
Led by board-certified family nurse practitioner Kaitlin Fielder, the primary care facility offers flexible hours, 24/7 emergency phone access, in-person visits and telehealth visits.
Also featuring a community health fair, the event was attended by residents, business owners and community members from Milford and surrounding areas in Kent and Sussex counties. Attendees explored the extensive healthcare services available at the Milford Wellness Village and connected with various providers.
"We're thrilled to have opened our doors to the Milford community at Village Primary Care," said Fielder. " We have built Village Primary Care with our community in mind, providing early-morning and late-evening appointments, and providing a warm, safe environment to meet the healthcare needs of our patients. The support at our ribbon cutting and health fair reinforces our commitment to working together with the Milford Wellness Village to meet the healthcare needs of our neighbors."
Milford Mayor F. Todd Culotta said, “To have Village Primary Care here now is another opportunity for residents to have access to medical care right here in Milford, and it is easily accessible. That’s just a wonderful thing for Milford."
The facility currently accepts a variety of insurance plans, including Medicare, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, MultiPlan and AARP.
