Visiting Claude Monet's house and gardens in Giverny with the Cape Gazette
January 6, 2024
Cape Gazette readers Wayne Sammons, Lisa Eline, Fran McKenna and Guy Zimmerman traveled to Paris at the end of September. Here they are shown while having an incredible time at Claude Monet's property at Giverny. The gardens were stunning. After several days in Paris, they traveled by train to Bayeux, where they visited Mont-Saint-Michel and Normandy. After enjoying their time in Bayeux, they headed back to Paris for a few days before taking another train to Bruges, Belgium, where they enjoyed chocolates, so many chocolates, waffles, and the lovely town. They even took a train ride to Gent, Belgium, before making their way back to Paris for the final time. The amazing trip concluded with a night cruise on the Seine River.
