Warrior Goddess Weekend to inspire and restore Sept. 21-23

A few openings are still available for Warrior Goddess Weekend, an original event hosted by SUP Yoga Delaware, set for Friday to Sunday, Sept. 21 to 23, in Lewes.

Warrior goddess training is sweeping the nation. Stacey Chandler, owner of SUP Yoga Delaware, has been inspired by author HeatherAsh Amara to host 10-week book clubs on the subject. “These gatherings with the most amazing women inspired by this book have been incredibly healing for me, and for the women I have shared it with. It's empowering and healing beyond measure. I am very excited to bring this full weekend of invigorating events to Lewes,” said Chandler.

Chandler chooses female-owned businesses to be a part of the celebration. Carin Langen’s Right Balance Pilates studio in The Plantations will serve as host for several weekend events. Dinner Saturday night will be at Meghan Lee’s Heirloom restaurant. Participating alternative healing businesses in Lewes include Joan Greeley’s Plant Wisdom Within, Nikole Visan’s Visan Massage, Amber Novak’s Amber Dragon Acupuncture, and Mandie Stadler’s Mandie’s Magical Marketplace. 

The three-day event begins Friday night with Aphrodite’s Table, an evening of healthful decadence and wild feminine fun provided by Joan Greeley’s Plant Wisdom Within and Rachel Bullock-Brockway’s GreenMan Bistro and Juice Bar.

Chandler will lead a yoga and essential oils education class Saturday. Then Langen will lead an introductory Pilates reformer session at Right Balance Pilates studio with a catered lunch to follow. In the afternoon, participants may experience their choice of Ayurvedic massage, acupuncture or psychic readings. Dinner will be at Heirloom in Lewes.

Sunday will begin with a barre class led by instructor Julie Wender and brunch by GreenMan Bistro and Juice bar. Attendees will then be launched on their own to enjoy historic Lewes where they can enjoy boutique shopping.
