Wellness Center at Cadbury names new medical director

The quality of life for residents at Cadbury at Lewes is enhanced by combining a spirit of community with a focus on wellness. Cadbury at Lewes recently announced that Dr. Manu Sehgal assumed the post of  medical director of the Wellness Center May 12.

Sehgal is board certified in internal medicine and geriatrics. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Newton Wellesley Hospital in Massachusetts, where he also served as chief resident. His fellowship in geriatrics was at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Sehgal received his board certification in internal medicine in 2002 and a certificate of added qualification in geriatrics in 2003.

He has been practicing in Sussex County since 2003, lives in Lewes and is associated with Beebe Medical Center and Bayhealth Milford Memorial Hospital. Sehgal has been voted among the top doctors in his field by his peers in Delaware Today magazine for 2009 and 2010.
