The 51st annual Great Delaware Kite Festival at Cape Henlopen State Park April 19 may have been among the windiest in the history of the event, with gusts topping 25 mph. The event features stunt flying and competition for children and adults.
In recent years, an egg hunt and egg toss have been added to the schedule. The popular festival is sponsored by the Lewes Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau, and the Delaware Division of Parks and Recreation.
