Wolfenden named Community Bank Delaware Director of the Month

David Wolfenden hs been named Community Bank Delaware Director of the Month

Wolfenden is a co-founder of Wheeler Wolfenden and Dwares, P.A., a local full-service CPA firm with offices in Lewes and Wilmington.  In his current role as president and managing director, Wolfenden splits his time between both Delaware offices and co-chairs both the accounting & auditing and tax departments.

Wolfenden joined the board of Community Bank Delaware in 2014 and currently serves as the audit chair.  “Mr. Wolfenden’s strong financial skills provide him the awareness and responsibility associated with the ever-changing compliance obligations placed on the bank,” stated President Jim Riddle. “Mr. Wolfenden has an excellent working knowledge of the audit committee.”

Wolfenden resides in Hockessin and spends a significant amount of time throughout the year at his home in South Bethany. H enjoys playing guitar, golfing, traveling and cooking. Wolfenden is involved in Delaware charities and serves on various nonprofit boards such as the NCC Habitat, NCC Chamber and Committee of 100.

As Community Bank Delaware’s Director of the Month, Wolfenden is awarded $500 for his charity of choice, The True Blue Jazz Festival.
