Women to compete in North American championship
Lewes Yacht Club sponsoring regattas this weekend, including Rowland Marshall Memorial
It will be women-only racing this weekend during the Sunfish Women’s North American Championship hosted by Lewes Yacht Club. There will be plenty of Sunfish sailboats on Delaware Bay near Lewes this weekend as the Lewes Yacht Club hosts the 2023 Sunfish Women’s North American Championship Aug. 19-20. LYC is also hosting the T. Rowland Marshall Memorial Mobjack National Championship, which is named after Marshall, a past club commodore, life member, avid Mobjack sailor for more than 40 years, and a Delaware Bay and River pilot for 51 years.
More than 40 Sunfish sailors have registered for the event.
