Worcester Prep girls notch win in Lewes

The Worcester Prep girls’ tennis team visited Lewes April 28. Cape Region girls Saylar and Stormy McGuiness, Anchita Batra and Mesa Cammack helped lead the Mallards to a 5-0 win over Cape Henlopen.
Annika Laresen led the way in first singles with a 7-6, 6-4 win. Batra followed with a 6-2, 6-3 win in second singles, while Abby Plylar cruised to a 6-2, 6-0 win in third singles.
Stormy McGuiness and Eva Parks teamed up to earn a 6-2, 6-0 win in first doubles, and Saylar McGuiness and Cammack logged a 6-0, 6-1 win in second doubles.
Team manager Sami Repass is also a Cape Region girl.
