World AIDS Day was remembered by a candlelight walk and a Service of Remembrance and Hope in Rehoboth Beach, Dec. 1. Nearly 175 men, women and children proceeded with candles in hand from the Bandstand, down Rehoboth Avenue and marched silently to All Saints' Church on Olive Avenue where the service of remembrance and hope was held.
Names of the victims lost to AIDS were read during the service and candles were raised in remembrance.
