Wreaths Across America event set in Rehoboth Dec. 17

Rehoboth Beach Main Street and the Rehoboth Beach Homeowners Association will hold their second annual Wreaths Across America event at 12 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 17, at Epworth Cemetery on Henlopen Avenue in Rehoboth Beach. 

With the mission to remember, honor and teach, National Wreaths Across America Day sees organizations across the country conduct wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery and more than 2,500 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad. 

Epworth Cemetery holds the gravesites of more than 150 veterans. Following the ceremony, Community Bank Delaware will provide lunch at the Rehoboth Beach Main Street office. To volunteer to lay a wreath, email rehobothwreaths@gmail.com.
