Zwaanendael Womens’ Club donates to Children’s Beach House

Children's Beach House team members extend their thanks to the GFWC Zwaanendael Women's Club for its generous donation of art supplies and a $500 contribution to support CBH's upcoming summer camp sessions.

Led by Deb Cebula and Connie Rivette, the club’s approximately 85 members initiated an art supplies drive for CBH in February. With guidance from CBH staff and Connie Miller, an art teacher and CBH trustee, the club gathered a variety of essential supplies, including hundreds of canvases, paintbrushes, large paper pads, colored pencils and markers.

The donations will support art programming in CBH’s youth development program camps this summer. Miller will incorporate the supplies into engaging art projects for children from underserved communities and those with special needs. The results will be exhibited during an art show in Lewes later this year.
