Kathleen Denise Hickey, 47, of Rehoboth Beach, passed away unexpectedly Friday, June 3, 2016 at home.
Kathy was born in Washington, D.C. October 8, 1968, and lived there until 2002 when she moved to Rehoboth Beach.
She is survived by her mother Judy Hickey of Rehoboth Beach; and sister Cheryl Hickey of New York City. Kathy was predeceased by her father, Laurence B. Hickey; and her beloved golden retriever, Jaxx.
Kathy attended Delaware Tech and Salisbury University where she earned a degree as a medical laboratory scientist.
Services have been held. Kathy loved animals, so if you wish to make a contribution, any animal welfare organization of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
