Howard E. Seal III, retired plumber
Howard E. Seal III, 77, of Bridgeville, passed away at home Sunday, July 31, 2016. He was born in Wilmington, Monday, March 20, 1939, son of the late Howard E. Seal Jr. and Blanche (McDaniel) Seal.
Mr. Seal graduated from A.I. DuPont High School in Wilmington in 1957, where he was an active member in the Future Farmers of America. He proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserves from January 1967 until February 1972 when he was honorably discharged. He then owned and operated Seal Plumbing & Heating in Wilmington and Milton, from 1957 until his retirement in 1998.
Mr. Seal was a dog lover who enjoyed spending time with his golden retrievers. In his spare time he liked to farm, garden, raise livestock and go hunting. He was also a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association.
Mr. Seal is survived by his three daughters: Shelly Mueller of Palo Verde, Calif., Holly Criswell of Milton and Kristen Seal of Milton; and his three grandchildren: Evelyn and Andrew Criswell of Milton, and Joseph Roberts of Birmingham, Ala.
Memorial Services will be held Thursday, Aug. 18, at 2 p.m, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, where friends may visit beginning at 1 p.m. Interment will be private.
