Terri L. Reeves, administrative assistant

Terri L. Reeves, 56, of Lewes, passed away Friday, Jan. 13, 2017, at Beebe Healthcare, Lewes. She was born Monday, May 30, 1960, in Arlington, Va., daughter of Nellie (LeCompte) Dempsey and the late Larry Dempsey.

Mrs. Reeves lived in Manassas, Va., where she worked as an administrative assistant for the United States government. Following her retirement in 2002, she moved to Lewes, where she worked for Dr. Maria Haldar for several years. In her free time, Mrs. Reeves enjoyed the boardwalk, fishing, reading and watching all paranormal investigations on TV. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and her many beloved dogs.

In addition to her father, Mrs. Reeves was preceded in death by her sister, Mary "Tinker." She is survived by her loving husband of 15 years, Michael T. Reeves of Lewes; her two daughters, Jacquelyn Bruns and her husband Douglas of Alexandria, Va., and Sarah Custer and her fiancé Scott of Lewes; her son, Erin Reeves of Lewes; her sister, Donna Faubel and her husband Charles of Dover; and her Chihuahua, Boots.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, Jan. 20, at 3 p.m., at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, where friends may visit beginning at 2 p.m.
