Cape grad and dance instructor Stacy King announces recital June 11
Having just celebrated her graduation from Cape Henlopen High School, Stacy King is getting ready for another big event the same week. As a dance instructor and choreographer, she has been preparing her 70 students for a recital to be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, June 11, at Delmarva Christian School, Milton Campus.
In her 15 years of dancing, King has worked with some of the top choreographers in the United States, and she even earned a pair of Disney Dance Performance ears. In September 2016, she started teaching hip hop, jazz, lyrical and ballet to 14 students at a studio in Milton. Today, that number has grown to 70 students, and to accommodate them, King will be holding her classes at A Time to Dance studio in Milton.
In the fall, King will begin nursing school. Having been accepted to two Virginia colleges, King ultimately decided to take her classes in Delaware so she can continue teaching dance to her current students.
A Time to Dance is at 13275 Reynolds Road in Milton. For more information, call 302-228-2688 or email atimetodancemilton@gmail.com.
