Skim competition raises funds for Skim USA

South Side Party held at new Big Chill Beach Club
July 3, 2017

Alley Oop Skim Shop and the Big Chill Beach Club in Delaware Seashore State Park hosted the South Side Party June 30 on the south side of Indian River Inlet. It was a skim competition and a fundraiser for Skim USA. Competitors from beginner to advanced performed wraps, shuv-its and ollies while thrilling the crowd on the beach. It was a small event, but a good way for local skimboarders to practice for other events at the start of the season.

Placing first in the advanced class was Eoin Lally followed by Ethan Redefer, Evan Price and Finn Forcucci.

Cooper Forcucci took top honors in the intermediate class with Luca Famularo taking second followed by Tristian Barnes and Syd Pizza.

The beginner class was won by Grady Hazel with Nico Famularo in second followed by Liam Barnes and Killian Davis.
