The white tents are back in Grove Park from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25 for the Rehoboth Beach Farmers Market’s Holiday Market. Bring your families and friends and join in this favorite holiday tradition in Rehoboth Beach.
The annual event welcomes many of the market’s regular vendors back to offer seasonal produce such as apples, winter squash, brussels sprouts, pumpkins, sweet potatoes and winter greens. Other vendors will offer sausages, fresh eggs, olive oil, Mediterranean spices and honey from local bee hives. Prepared food will also be available from the Corn Exchange, Good News, Meat and Seafood and Lori’s Oy Vey Café. Cave Girl will have chocolate candies and cupcakes for sale.
Local artisans will have one-of-a-kind wooden cutting boards and bread boards, sea glass jewelry and wine stoppers, holiday aprons, calendars and cards. Rehoboth Beach potter and Farmers’ Market volunteer, Sandy Curson, will feature her special bowls, cups and other distinctive items for sale.
This is a perfect place to do holiday gift shopping. Shoppers will find lavender products, scented teas, jams and jellies, artist-decorated soaps, Christmas ornaments and unique natural skin care products. Fresh holiday green decorations will be available. Don’t forget that if you preordered holiday table decorations and wreaths from Turning Pointe Farm you can pick them up at the market.
The Information tent has special Rehoboth Beach Farmers Market items for sale, such as insulated market bags, hats, T-shirts, flexible cutting boards and market dish towels. Proceeds from the information tent will go towards replacing tents and for entertainment during the regular season (May through October).
Sip cider, donated by Fifer Orchards, and munch on cookies served by Santa’s elves while enjoying holiday songs by the CAMP Rehoboth Chorale.
Take a chance on winning a centerpiece made with fresh greens from Turning Pointe Farms. The drawing will occur at the market.
