Mary Ann Milligan, talented athlete

Mary Ann Milligan, 81, of Seaford, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at her home. She was born July 15, 1937, in Bridgeville, daughter of the late Lewis and Anna Grace Trivits.

Ms. Milligan was an avid Orioles fan. She was a talented athlete, spending many of her younger years playing softball. Ms. Milligan enjoyed knitting and crocheting in her spare time, as well. More than anything, however, she cherished moments spent with her beloved family, especially her grandchildren. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Mrs. Milligan is survived by her son, Scott B. Milligan and his wife Mary-Ann of Easton, Md.; her daughter, Traci A. Millligan of Seaford; her grandson, Bradley A. Milligan of Edinboro, Pa.; and her granddaughter, Kaitlyn A. Milligan of Easton.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 25, at Odd Fellows Cemetery, 514 Third St., Seaford. Arrangements are being handled by Watson-Yates Funeral Home, a member of the Parsell Funeral Family.
