Joseph R. Kuchinsky, successful engineer

Joseph Roman Kuchinsky, 73, of Baltimore, Md., passed in peace Monday, July 16, 2018, at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. He was born Sunday, April 22, 1945, in Crucible, Pa., son of the late Joseph J. and Natalie D. Kuchinsky.

Joe will be lovingly remembered as a supportive and generous husband, father and grandfather who put his family’s interests ahead of his own. He was a proud Army veteran, successful engineer, talented all-around sports player, and animal lover. More than anything, he loved to spend quality time with his family at his beach house in Rehoboth.

Joe leaves behind his loving wife, Hazel; his daughters: Alexis and Katherine; his grandchildren: Riley, Casey, Olivia, and Abigail; and his beloved dog, Dewey.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 26, at St. Edmond Catholic Church, 409 King Charles Ave., Rehoboth Beach, where friends may call beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow the services at 12 p.m. at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 32112 Vines Creek Road, Dagsboro.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Delaware SPCA, 455 Stanton-Christiana Road, Newark, DE 19713.
