Grotto Pizza in West Bethany celebrated the completion of recent renovations by hosting a ceremonial ribbon cutting with the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce July 17.
The popular pizza restaurant has 11 locations in Sussex County, with the West Bethany and South Bethany locations being the most recently remodeled. The updated design features new paint, flooring, tables, chairs, booths and televisions. “We are working on updating all of our locations to have the same color scheme and look,” said Jeffrey Gosnear, vice president of Grotto Pizza Inc.
With the first Grotto Pizza having opened in Delaware 58 years ago, its famous swirl pizza has become a beach tradition for many vacationers and a staple among locals. To see the newly renovated space and enjoy a slice of pizza, visit the West Bethany location at 793 Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach.
