Donna J. Miller, devoted to family
Donna J. Miller, 74, of Rehoboth Beach passed away Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2018, at Delaware Hospice Center after a five-year battle with cancer. She was born Oct. 19, 1944, in Stewartstown, Pa., daughter of the late Juanita and Stuart Klinedinst.
Donna graduated from York Suburban High School. She was a sales representative for Share Corporation, based in Milwaukee, Wis. Some of her favorite activities were visiting relatives, camping with family, and walking on the boardwalk. Above all, Donna’s most cherished times were with those she held most dear. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her sisters: Sandy Innerst and Nancy Seitz. She is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Rodney Miller of Rehoboth Beach; her son, John Miller and his wife Mindy of Denver, Colo.; her daughters: Tammy Swonger and her husband Bob of York, Pa., and Malissa Henning and her husband Patrick of Tallahassee, Fla.; her seven wonderful grandchildren; her brother, Craig Klinedinst and his wife Debbie; many nieces and nephews; and her adored canine companion Raven.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, Nov. 5, at 2 p.m., at Carey’s United Methodist Church, 22053 Carey’s Camp Road, Millsboro Interment will be private. Arrangements handled by Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Lewes.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Donna’s memory to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
