Spanish immersion students celebrate holidays at Milton Elementary

First-grade students in the Milton Elementary Spanish immersion program performed a holiday celebration Dec. 14.

Showcasing what they have learned in the program, students started out by singing several holiday songs in both English and Spanish. Then they shared a recent writing project with their family and friends in attendance.

The program concluded with a slide show of photos from the first half of the year. Attendees indulged in some sweet treats at the end of the celebration.

First-grade teacher Tracey Keller and Jorge Moreno hosted the event.
