Bayhealth director completes Wharton fellowship

A Bayhealth director has successfully concluded a fellowship at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital Director of Patient Care Services Ann Keane, RN, MSN, MA, NEA-BC, CCRN, completed the fellowship in management for nurse executives which included curriculum on strategic planning, finance, return on investment, new capital ventures and a variety of other topics taught by world-renowned Wharton business professors.

“It was challenging and rewarding to gain insight on key issues which impact our patient care at Bayhealth Medical Center. The clinical, planning and finance perspectives will all be valuable tools in helping us to improve services for out patients,” said Keane.

As director of Patient Care Services, Keane oversees daily operations for the Medical-Surgical, Critical Care, Stroke Center, Dialysis and Vascular Access departments at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital.
