Chaps Pit Beef opens on Route 1 Rehoboth
Coastal Station location is Delaware’s first for popular Baltimore-based franchise

Delaware’s first Chaps Pit Beef is scheduled to open at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 12, in Coastal Station on Route 1 Rehoboth. The owners/operators of the franchise are brothers Christopher and Gary Desch, Baltimore natives who moved to the Cape Region years ago.
This Baltimore-style barbeque restaurant, at 19791 Coastal Highway, will be the first franchise outside Maryland.
Gary said the restaurant will open every day 10:30 a.m., with closing hours still to be determined. For more information, go to www.chapspitbeef.com.
