Delaware Grown Week, launched in May at Rehoboth Beach Farmers Market, is a campaign highlighting the fruits, vegetables, and value-added agricultural products produced in the First State.
“Having an array of of locally grown, fresh in-season produce encourages consumers to try new fruits and vegetables, and eat healthy,” said Delaware Secretary of Agriculture Michael Scuse.
Through the use of an interactive map on the Delaware Grown website, consumers can find local products from fruits and vegetables, herbs and honey to Christmas trees and other value-added products.
Citizens can also find out how to cook using local produce.
