Wet and windy conditions, the same for both teams, resulted in a 6-0 Laurel win over previously unbeaten Cape in the Henlopen Conference Championship game played Oct. 29 on the turf field at Milford.
Cape has a first-round bye in the upcoming state tournament, then will host a game Saturday, Nov. 12. The time and opponent will be determined after first-round results.
