Delaware Hospice holds Annual Festival Of Trees

Delaware Hospice in Milford held its annual Festival of Trees Dec. 13. The Festival of Trees is the annual event ushering in the holiday season statewide. Hosted by Delaware Hospice to support its programs, the festival features a magnificent display of decorated trees and wreaths, offers special holiday events, and hosts thousands of visitors each year. The Festival of Trees is made possible through the support of the community. Hundreds of volunteers help organize and run the events; businesses and individuals sponsor trees and wreaths, which are decorated by artisans who donate their time and talent. At the close of the festival, the trees and wreaths are then delivered to another nonprofit organization.

Designer Sam Hummel decorated this tree donated by Martin and Christine Miller. The tree will stay in Delaware Hospice.

This toy-covered tree greets visitors to Delaware Hospice. The tree was donated by John Ward and was decorated by Camp New Hope. The tree will remain at Delaware Hospice.
