Ida Mae Parker, Conagra retiree

Ida Mae Parker, 69, daughter of the late George Washington Williams and Fannie Mae Teagle, was born Oct. 24, 1950, and peacefully departed this life Saturday, April 18, 2020. 

Ida was born and raised in Bridgeville, where she spent many years. She later moved to Milford with her family. Ida attended Dover Miracle Revival Center in Harrington, where she enjoyed worshipping God and being a servant of The Lord Jesus Christ.

Ida’s early education began at Phyllis Wheatley School and she continued educating herself until she began her long-time career at Conagra, where she diligently worked 30+ years. Ida always prided herself on never missing a day of work. She enjoyed spending most of her time with family and friends. Ida enjoyed helping others in need, and going to different places with her husband Buddy.

Ida was preceded in death by her daughter Lillie Mae Williams; her parents, George Washington Williams and Fannie Mae Teagle; two brothers George Williams Jr. and Joseph Williams; and one sister, Cathy Williams.

Ida leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband Samuel Parker Jr.; four sisters Loretta Teagle, Lucille Cannon, Georgia Wright and Helena Wright; four brothers, Robert Williams, Jessie Wright, Eric Wright and Landy Wright; three sisters-in-law, Alberta Parker, Dorothy Watkins and Louise Fletcher’ one brother-in-law, Thomas Parker (Mr. T); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Services are entrusted to McPherson Funeral Service Inc. Camden.
