Mid-1900s volleyball team in Sussex County

Summer has switched to fall. Schools are back in modified session due to COVID-19. Sports are now super-charged in people’s minds. Cape Henlopen High School’s hungry girls’ volleyball team is making three trips to New Castle County each week for practice and games. Girls volleyball has a long tradition in Sussex County as evidenced by this photograph of the Greenwood High School volleyball team in the middle part of the 1900s.
