Milton Community Food Pantry distribution set Jan. 18

January 14, 2021

The Milton Community Food Pantry will be distributing food from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.,  Monday, Jan. 18. All patrons and volunteers must wear masks.

All clients should first report to the parking lot of Goshen United Methodist Church on the corner of Federal and Mulberry streets, then follow the volunteers’ directions.

For the calendar year 2021, and until further notice, the pantry will distribute food on its modified schedule of the first and third Mondays of each month. All distributions will be announced on the pantry’s website, miltonpantry.org/.

For emergency assistance between distributions, call Delaware 211 or contact the pantry team at 302-278-9557.

Incoming donations of food are accepted from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sundays, at Goshen Hall, 114 Federal St., along with cash or check donations. Donations can also be made online at miltonpantry.org/ or mailed to P.O. Box 84, Milton, DE 19968. As always, all donations, large and small, are much appreciated.

The pantry also continues to search for its own facility in the Milton area, as the current location is not totally suitable for the current distribution model supporting revised health protocols.
