Polka Dot Powerhouse chapter to relaunch with new director March 3
The Lewes chapter of Polka Dot Powerhouse announced its relaunch date as Wednesday, March 3.
Having selected its new Managing Director Melissa Clampitt, the Lewes chapter is set up for some new and exciting events in 2021, including a cup of gratitude and power hour, where women can collaborate and celebrate their professional and personal lives.
Polka Dot Powerhouse started in Eau Claire, Wis., founded by Shannon Crotty in 2012. The organization thrives on its mission to connect the world’s most positive, action-forward, amazing women to build lifelong friendships and business relationships.
In fall 2018, a chapter was started in Lewes. Clampitt has belonged since its inception. The chapter has approximately 60 women members and continues to grow.
The Lewes chapter hosts monthly luncheons which each feature a different speaker, and while meetings are currently virtual, a hybrid meeting option is coming soon. There are additional social and professional meet-ups. Clampitt’s leadership team of Jennifer Bland, Morgan Whalen, Janine Dipaula Stevens, and Lisa Condon assists in running the chapter and coordinating events.
