Fins Hospitality Group donates to Meals on Wheels

Fins Hospitality Group, parent company of Claws Seafood, Fins Ale House/Fish House & Raw Bar, and Big Oyster Brewery, recently donated $1,000 to Meals on Wheels Lewes-Rehoboth.

"In this tough business climate, we still need to realize that there are people in this community that need our support. We are happy to partner with Meals on Wheels to provide help to those people in need," said Jeff Hamer, owner of Fins Hospitality Group. Meals on Wheels has been an important charity to both Kim and Jeff Hamer since they purchased the home of the couple who started Meals on Wheels in Rehoboth.

A few years ago, Fins Hospitality Group team members realized the need for supplemental food on weekends for some Meals on Wheels recipients. They started a bag of groceries program to help get Meals on Wheels clients through the weekend since hot meals are only delivered on weekdays.
