Robert Charles Ebright, avid outdoorsman

Robert Charles Ebright, 75, of Seaford passed away peacefully Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021, at his home.  He was born June 9, 1945, in Havre de Grace, Md., son of the late Henry and Lily May (Renn) Ebright.

Mr. Ebright was a proud veteran, having honorably served in the U.S. Army and Reserves for 32 years. He built a lifelong career working for the U.S. government and Curtis Bay, as a boat maintenance mechanic.

On June 5,1965, he married the love of his life, Lena E. (Dukes) Ebright, in Perryville, Md. Mr. Ebright was a member of the VFW Post 4961 in Seaford.  He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed gardening, camping, tinkering and loved his dogs. Above all, Mr. Ebright cherished time spent with those he held most dear. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Mr. Ebright is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Lena Eleanor Ebright; his daughter: Tracy Trimble of Aberdeen, Md.; his granddaughter, Madison Trimble of Aberdeen; his brothers: Russell Ebright of Havre de Grace and Frank Ebright of Elkton, Md. and his sister, Jean Sanner of Aberdeen.

The family suggests donations in Mr. Ebright's memory be made to VFW, www.vfw.org.

Services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson-Yates Funeral Home & Crematorium, a Parsell Family Funeral Home, Seaford.
