Carol J. Walker, truly loved animals

Carol Jean Walker, 81, of Lewes and formerly of Central Pennsylvania, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at West Shore Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born Feb. 10, 1940, in Loveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Cicily (Garrison) Kinner. Carol was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Albert Walker.

Surviving are her sons, Daron (Danielle) Morrill, Dale Morrill, Mark and Terry Elmore; her grandchildren, Anna Elmore (Jason Krause), Heather (Kevin) Hollenbush, Zachary Morrill, and Allison (Cody) Peters; great-grandson, Hudson Hollenbush; as well as her most beloved sidekick, Oscar the Yorkie.

Besides the love of her family, Carol enjoyed horseback riding, the beach, and spending time with friends. Her love for her animals was unconditional.

There will be a Celebration of Life from 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 27, at Daron and Danielle’s home, 7 Ash Drive in Mechanicsburg, Pa.
