Susan L. Duffy, bank employee

Susan L. Duffy, 43, of Millsboro, passed away peacefully Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at Atlantic Shores Rehabilitation & Health Center. She was born in Wilmington, Friday, March 1, 1968, daughter of Martin F. and Nancy (Slicher) Duffy.

Ms. Duffy was a resident of Millsboro for the past three years, coming from Kennett Square, Pa. She worked in banking and collections in Wilmington and Newark, attended Salisbury State University in Maryland and loved artwork, stamp collecting, reading and especially going to the beach.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Duffy is survived by one daughter; Katherine "Katie" Duffy of Chadds Ford, Pa.; one sister; Maureen A. Duffy of Lewes; one brother; Michael J. Duffy and his wife Blythe of Newark; two nieces, Megan K. Harns and Paige M. Duffy; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and their families.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Edmond's Catholic Church, 409 King Charles Ave., Rehoboth Beach, at noon, Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012. Friends may call at the church beginning at 11 a.m.
