Greyhounds and other sighthounds gathered the weekend of Oct. 9 in Rehoboth Beach for the annual Greyhounds Reach the Beach. This year marked the event’s 27th anniversary and the second time it’s been held at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center.
Greyhounds Reach the Beach is an annual charity event that celebrates the greyhound breed and creates an awareness of the need for adoptive and foster homes. The event supports the adoption of greyhounds and other sighthound breeds by donating net proceeds to designated 501(c)(3) greyhound and sighthound adoption groups.
Additional information on Greyhounds Reach the Beach can be found at grtb.org or by emailing pr@grtb.org.
Dressed alike, it’s obvious these three dogs are with the same humans. It’s also obvious that Quinn, a chihuahua mix, is tired of all the special attention his Italian greyhound brothers Parker, middle, and Teagan are getting.
There was a blessing of the greyhounds held the afternoon of Oct. 9. Debbie and Dave Schultheis share the positive energy with their three greyhounds.
