On the final day of Black History Month Feb. 28, Bishop Arthur D. Jones and Co-Pastor Margaret Jones gathered with Trinity Faith Christian Center members for worship and celebrated their past, present and future.
Bishop Jones talked about the brave leadership of Harriet Tubman and the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., relating them to other great leaders in the Bible. Jymayce Wescott discussed the origin of Black History Month.
Dressed in traditional African garments, congregation members enjoyed a meal and fellowship in Heritage Hall following the service.
