President Joe Biden is expected to travel to Brussels next week for summits with NATO leaders and the European Union. However, before he did so, he and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden spent roughly 48 hours at their North Shores home, just north of Rehoboth Beach.

The Bidens arrived in Rehoboth a little after 6 p.m., Friday, March 18, and left a little after 1 p.m., Sunday, March 20. In between, he attended church Saturday afternoon at St. Edmond Catholic Church and went for a bike ride Sunday morning on the Gordons Pond bike trail, which is right around the corner from his house. Biden is scheduled to visit to be in Brussels for two days this coming week – Wednesday, March 23 and Thursday, March 24.

This story was updated at 3:05 p.m., Sunday, March 20, to say Biden was no longer in Rehoboth Beach.
