Community Bank Delaware gift supports SPCA summer camp
Community Bank Delaware donated $1,000 to Brandywine Valley SPCA in support of its summer week-long Critter Camps, which offer sponsorships to children who might not otherwise have a summer camp opportunity.
Critter Camp offers many different educational and fun activities for the week. Children will learn about many aspects of critter care and behavior skills through interaction with a variety of animals in the SPCA shelter, and be introduced to other guest animals including reptiles and alpacas.
Critter Camp will be held on the Georgetown SPCA campus for the weeks of Monday to Friday, July 11 to 15, and July 18 to 22. To learn more about camp, call 302-516-1007.
Brandywine Valley SPCA, founded in 1929, exists to end animal suffering and to involve the entire community in the welfare and well-being of animals. For more information, visit bvspca.org.
Community Bank Delaware has branches in Lewes and Rehoboth.
