June 4, 2022

Community Bank Delaware recently announced the promotion of Christopher Benjamin to senior vice president in the lending group.

Benjamin joined the bank in 2016 and has been successful in growing its loan portfolio, adding new relationships and managing existing customers.

“Chris is a significant contributor toward the bank’s lending growth. He brings enthusiasm and reliability to the lending team and community by building and maintaining customer relationships,” said William Jack Riddle, Community Bank Delaware president.

Benjamin’s office is in Lewes where he continues to focus on helping grow the bank’s consumer and business loan portfolio base throughout Sussex County. He works with clients on all facets of residential home lending, and with small business clients on their loan and deposit needs.

“It is important that I continue to work with and support the community in which I live. The decisions are made here locally to keep our customers’ best interests in mind, which is a strong value Community Bank Delaware and I have in common,” said Benjamin.

Benjamin serves as a board member for Epworth Christian School and previously served on the board of Sussex Academy. He and his wife Rachel reside in Lewes; they have six children.
